In addition to the Capital Improvement Project under consideration by the District, Ogdensburg City School District is embarking on an energy performance contract that will dramatically increase energy efficiency, improve building infrastructure and save money.

This guaranteed energy project includes energy improvements such as lighting upgrades, building controls improvements and other energy saving upgrades estimated at over $4 million is entirely funded by energy and operational savings and state building aid therefore will have no cost impact to property owners and residents. This energy saving project will also have a positive environmental impact due to reduced use of electricity and fuel. Since savings and performance are guaranteed, there is no financial risk to the district for this self-funded energy project.

NOTICE TO ENERGY SERVICES COMPANIES

GENERAL INFORMATION AND REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR AN ENERGY PROJECT

The Ogdensburg City School District is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the selection of energy services company (ESCO).  You are invited to submit a proposal in accordance with this RFP.

Proposals must be received no later than December 6, 2024 at 3:00pm.

Late proposals will be returned unopened.

An original and two (2) copies plus one electronic copy (PDF) of the proposal are required. Proposal may be mailed or hand delivered.  To prevent opening by unauthorized individuals, your proposal should be identified on the envelope or other wrapper as follows:
