John F. Kennedy Elementary’s colorful and light-filled spaces welcome children into a community where learning, play, and social interaction support developing minds. School staff help students use their creativity and find new ways to communicate their ideas.

Students proceed to homerooms at 8:05 a.m. School begins at 8:20 a.m. and ends at 2:50 p.m. Children are asked not to arrive at school before 7:30 a.m., at which time supervision is available.  Breakfast will be served daily to all students in the cafeteria beginning at 7:30 a.m.  At JFK, our UPK students are asked to arrive no earlier than 7:50 a.m., as breakfast is part of the daily classroom schedule.

If school is delayed by two hours, school begins at 10:05 a.m., with students being marked late after 10:20 a.m.
